      Village is opposite Upper  Bytown, with which it is connected by a  handsome suspension  bridge—the
      stage and steamboat  fares are the same as to Bytown.

      there is ,a college of  industry, known as " Joliette College," here, at which  the  boarding  and tuition
      costs only £6 15s. per annum.
