DRESS-CUTTING AND DRESS-MAKING SCHûûLS.
The dress-cutting schools date back to 1889; they give free courses
in scientific cutting and dress-making. Their number is rapidly increasing.
The practical use of the lessons in dress-cutting is shown by the large
increase in the school attendance since 1905.
