The Third Book of Lessons, Appendix to the Mensuration for the use of
The Fourth Book of Lessons, Teachers.
The Fifth Book of Lessons, just published from An Introduction to Geography and History, by
new Stereotype Plates, Professor Sullivan, with several Maps,
The Fist Book of Arithmetic, Elements of Geometry,
Key to ditto, Lessons on the Truth of Christianity.
These are the Editions which met with the sanction and approval of His Excellency the Governor
General, of the Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church, of many influential Clergymen of the Church
of England, of the Synod of the Church of Scotland, of Clergymen in connection with the Methodist,
Baptist, Congregational and other Churches, of the Chief Superintendents of Education in Canada,
East and West, and they have in consequence been brought into rapid and extensive use throughout
the Province. When commenting on the value of the National series of School Books, the Edinburgh
Review declared them " to be the very best books of the kind in the English Language."
These Editions bear the following on the title page:—

AND REPRINTED BY EXPRESS PERMISSION, AT MONTREAL, BY ARMOUR <FC R.AMSAY."
The Trade, Country Merchants, Teachers and others, supplied on the most reasonable terms.
Curriculum Latinum, in 2 Vols.:
One consisting of Prose, the other of Poetical Extracts from the Latin Classics, for the use of Schools
and Colleges. The price is so moderate as to supersede the necessity of buying the Works of the dif-
ferent Authors separately.
