88 About Genealogical Standards of Evidence
190 1 Census Canada
The 1901 census has more information than previous
enumerations, with day and month of birth, year of
immigration and naturalization (if applicable), racial or tribal
origin, employment data and literacy/language columns. A
census is a mix of primary and secondary information -
some depends on the census-taker (spelling, correctly
hearing) and who responded to the enumerator's questions.
