Although these locations were valid in
August and October 1978, ahout a third of the
stones were no longer attached to bases and
many were broken1 some may be displaced fraa
their original locations. Stones have been
numbered in eight north - scuth lines (vertical.
on the Plan], alternating in direction, except
for a few which were assembled or restored to
their bases a3er numbering to facilitate
transcriptianr thus # 20 will be found between
52 and 53: # 22 and # 74 between 77 and 80:

# 59 near 52~ 79 between 73 and 73: # 88
with 91.
Trees, shrubs and neighbouring landrrarks
are indicated on the llan as well as unnumbered
plot - posts and fences. The Tay River is just
east of the canpground and the baseline of
Dramnorid Township is a few h'd~dred feet south
of Robinson Streef.
