        No  pilot is obliged to stay  more than  forty-eight  hours  on board after  the arrival of the vessel at
      the above places, and she properly  moored.
        And for the encouragement of pilots who shall distinguish themselves by their  activity and readiness
      to aid and assist any ship  or vessel in  distress, and in want of a pilot,  &c., to be paid extra ou award
      of the Trinity House.
        Pilots carried  to sea by stress  of weather are alLpwed £6 sterling per month,  and provided  with a
      passage  back, over  and above  pilotage  due them.  The wages above  to be paid  up to the  day the
      passage  is provided, or that the pilot may choose to accept of a sum of money in lieu  of such passage.
             PILOTS FOR AND BELOW THE HARBOTTK OF QUEBEC  ACCORDING  TO SENIORITY.
      With  the number prefixed  to each, which they are  obliged, by law, to carry on the bow and  quarter of
         their respective boats or crafts,  and on each of the sails  of  said  boats or crafts,  under a penalty o
         ten pounds,  currency.
       NOTE.—The figures  prefixed to the name of each  pilot are his proper "  NUMBER,"  those  following
      his name, his AGE, and the place mentioned, his ABODE.
