at the age of 67 at Augusta,Me., He was the son of Simeon and
Anastasie Lachance who were married July 7,1891 at St.George,
Beauce,P.Q.

His wife was Olivine Patenaude of Augusta,Me.They had one son
Roland of Las vegas, Nev. and one daughter Mrs. Martin (Lucille)
Cloutier of Augusta,Me. His surviving brothers were Alphonse
and Gregoire and Wilfred all of Augusta,Me and Alfred of Lac

M~gantic,p.Q. and 3 sisters: I~s Joseph(Marie)Pelletier and Mrs
Come(Obeline)Gosselin both of Augusta and Mrs Lionel(Delina)
Philippon of Winthrop,Me. He was employed at Central Destribu-
tors of Lewiston,Me for 15 years - shipping department of Bates
Mafg Co. in Lewiston - Edwards Division for 20 years - custodian

at Frank X. Pomerleau in Auqusta for f our years - retired in 1976.
