LABRECQUE
(1625 - 1976)
LAURA was born July 20@1897 at St.Gervais and died at the age
of 79 unexpectedly at her home in Auburn,Me. She was the daugh-

ter of cyrille and of Melanie(Celanire) Lacroix who were married
July 21,1885 at st~ Raphae1,Bellechasse,P.Q.
Her husband was John W. McLuer who died Oct.l966 in Lewiston,Me.
Her surviving sisters were:Mrs Maria Beland of Lewiston and Mrs
Eva Robitaille of Quebec City and one brother: Pierre Labrecque
of Ste Foye,P.Qoo She was a well known businesswoman. She was
edpcated at St.Gervais.
Her g;~ndparents were Andr6 and Florence vermette who were mar-

ried July 15,1851 at St.HenrigLevis,P.Q.
The parents of Andre were Guillaume and Anqllique Lejeune who
were married Aug.24,1812 at St.Gervais.(This last couple is found
on the middle of page 94.)
NOTE:Pierre Labrecque who came to Canada was born around 1625
and his brother Jean Aug.30 1634.

(1665-1980)
ALFRED, was born Aug.lO,1901 at St.Lambert,Levis,p.Q. and died
May 15,1980 after being a patient for a few hours in the hospi-
tal. He was the son of Ovide and Elizabeth Allen who were married
July 19,1892 at St.Lambert.
His wife was Valeda Morissette of Berlin. They had two sons: Paul
and Theodore both of Berlin,NeH. and 8 daughters: Mrs Wilfred
(Eliette)Hamil and Mrs Roland(Dorothee)Chiasson and Mrs Paul
(M.Claire)S~vigny and Mrs Robert(Jeanne)Guerin and Mrs Henry
(Therese)Pinette all from Berlin and Mrs Robert(Grace)Lowe of
Randolph,N.H. His surviving brothers were Telesphore of Breaker-
ville,P.Q. and Roland of St.Lambert and 1 sister: Mrs Oliva Bou-

cher of St.Etienne,LevisBPeQo and 31 grandchildren and 4 great-
grandchildren. He lived all his life in Berlin - was self-employed
