Ontario Marriage
Both marriages were registered within about two weeks of
the events. At this time the maiden name of the mother of
bride and groom was requested, as well as the religion and
occupations of the couple. These historic volumes of
Ontario births-marriages-deaths registers are not the first
recording of the events, which were done at a municipal
level of government. However, they are the basis for
certified copies of the events.
Archives of Ontario, RG 80-5, Marriages 1906, Vol. H includes County
of Perth, Township of Downie, entries #015923 and 015924; MS 932 reel
124.
