The parents of Jean were Mathurin and Jeanne Bouvier of St.Vivier,
diocese of Rouen,France. Jean was a carpenter and was born around
1626 and died Oct.5,1684 at OU'bec.

LEMIRE
(1626 - 1977)
EDWARD was born Aug.ll q 1905 at BiddefordqMe and died at the age
of 72 in a local nursing home following a long illness. He was
the son of Henry and Clara Blanchette who were married Feb.9,
1902 at Biddeford,Me.
His wife was Yvonne Nolette of BiddefordqMe. They had a son
Edward W. of Old Orchard,Me and 2 daughters: Mra.Freddie(Constan-
ce)C1ark of ElToro,calif. and ~ttSa Lawrence (Jeannine)Leonne of
Bolton,Mass. His surviving relatives were a brother Rudolph
of Saco,Me and3 sisters: Mrs~ Mabel Painchaud of Saco and Mrs.
Robert Rochefort and Mrs. George Merre!ll both of Biddeford,Me
and 8 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild. Be was employed by
the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard during W.W.II. In 1958 he founded
the Champion Home Improvement Coo in Saco. He retired in 1971
and had a winter home,a~ Homes~ead,F1a. Be was a member of the
Fire Department for 10 years and Maine N~tural Guard for 3 hears.
His grandparents were Joseph and Louise Chagnon who were married
oct.l4,1877 at Biddeford.
The parents of Joseph were Moise and Marie Carrier. (This couple
